Halloween 2023 plus Xander update

Halloween came and went this year.  October really flew by and today is our dog Bella's 3rd birthday.  In honor of her birthday she'll get her obligatory pup cup and I'll get my caramel brûlée!  Perfect timing for the holiday drinks to come back.  I wait all year for there return!

Xander loves to go on the streets as a creepy person.  Sterling was M3gan.  After they were done going to doors, they came back home and helped me hand out candy.  We didn't have too many kids, but it was nice because we could give each kid a handful of candy instead of the "normal" 2 or 3 pieces.  It was fun having them help me.  We came up with a plan that Xander would hide around the house and run out to scare the kids.  Every scream he received, he earned $1.  He only made $5, but we had a few snitches letting kids know.  He had fun and Sterling and I had some good laughs. 

After we came inside, they began the great candy trade.  

It was our first halloween in this neighborhood and we loved it.

Xander went to see his doctor yesterday.  He had another EKG and then the doctor came in to examine him.  Everything checked out perfectly and we'll go back in one year.  Unless something comes up of course.  Since May, Xander has grown 6 inches!  We went shopping after the appointment because he basically needed a new wardrobe.  I kept putting it off because he plays so hard in his clothes and they are expensive.  But he really needed new stuff.  He's officially taller than me.  Sterling is right behind him and I'm sure will pass me in the next few weeks.
