I love seeing what other's are making so I thought I'd take pictures of our dinners last week to share incase you are looking for some new ideas.
Wednesday we had chicken and rice casserole. I've been using this recipe for years and it's a family favorite. The only change I make is I dice up the chicken instead of leaving the breast whole.
On Thursday I wanted another salad since it was so good the night before. So I made everyone else nuggets and tots and I enjoyed my salad.
Friday we had yummy Thai. I didn't grab a picture, but we had our favorites.
On Saturday we had this kofta kabab recipe. I didn't have and couldn't find sumac seasoning, so I left it out. I made my favorite tzatziki sauce, tomato and cucumber salad, manakeesh za'atar bread, and apple crostatas for dessert. Everyone loved it.
Sunday we had Xander's favorite dinner, gumbo joes. A nice classic summertime meal.
Monday night we had good ole spaghetti. We've been exploring different Rao's sauces and we've liked them all, but, I really loved this one. It was the arrabbiata sauce. Oh my was it good! It had a lot of spice, but, so so good! I typically make roasted broccoli with pasta dishes, but I didn't have any fresh and decided on spaghetti last minute. So, no veggie.
Last nights dinner was another salad with chicken, cucumber, celery, red pepper, and cheese. The boys also had bacon on theirs.
Sterling had this, ha. She's still exploring salads.
Well I hope this gives you a new idea for dinner, or that it shows you that it doesn't have to be fancy or gourmet.
Have a great day!
