Hey hey! Here's a little of what's been going on around here.
What I'm Watching
Hallmark Channel of course. Yes, the movies are predicable, and yes, I'm going to watch them all. I love a good story that puts a smile on my face. This week's lineup includes Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, on Saturday. I mean, how fun does that sound?! Also, Christmas with the Darlings, on Sunday. Both look so sweet. Sterling will love Christmas with the Darlings, it has kids in it 😉
I've also been watching the election. Sigh.
What I'm Reading
I'm still working my way through The Brave Learner. It's such a great book chopped full of wonderful ways to implement new ideas into our homeschool.
This is the stack of books I want to get through. One book at a time.
What We're Eating
So far I have planned out Tacos, Homemade Burgers and Fries (p.s., I make the BEST fries, ha!), Crepes and Southwest Eggs, and Chicken and Rice Casserole.
What I'm Missing
I'm really missing the younger years of my kids. They were SO much fun and a lot less sassy.
Car ride naps, oh how I miss you!
Matching outfits
These two always got along. Until about two years ago. Sigh.
I mean, the sweet innocence of a 3 year old. I miss it.
Can you take a nap again...pretty please?!?
Three year olds are the best! Really.
What I'm Loving
The cooler weather and hoodies. I LOVE hoodie season
What I'm Hating
Scrolling through social media and everyone is selling something. I have an extremely hard time believing someone on social media because if they are asking you to swipe up or click on a link, they're being paid. They're {most likely} not being honest and just wanting a commission. It's been like this since May. Ugh.
What I'm looking Forward to
Winter break we are taking a week trip to spend in the mountains at a cabin. It's our first time and we're all so excited! We're hopeful for some snow and excited for the Polar Express train ride. Leave me all your best tips for staying at a cabin! I need them!
What I'm Grateful For
The opportunity to give my kids the best education they deserve.
